Trustworthy Giving For Haiti

In this time of Haiti's great need so many are stepping up to provide relief. The response is encouraging and uplifting, however in this time, sadly some are trying to take advantage of the generosity of many to make a profit. We know it can be hard to know who to trust or where to give. At KSLT, KLMP, and 97.9 The Point, we have compiled this list of ministries we have worked with and trust, not only because they have a history of financial acountability, but also because they have a history of ministry and continued presence on the ground in haiti. Mission of Mercy: Medical Mercy Mission of Mercy has 54 year history of providing food, care, and eduction to children all over the world, including Haiti. At the time of the earthquake Mission of Mercy had three ongoing projects on the ground in Haiti. In response to this tragedy they have mobilised the medical division of Mission of Mercy, Medical Mercy. A team of doctors and support staff are already on the ground in haiti providing medical relief. Mission of Mercy is absorbing all administrative cost, making it possible for 100% of donations to go directly to relief efforts.

Pastor Serge Coulanges: Dove Christian Center Rapid City local church Dove Christian Center has an ongoing relationship with Haitian pastor Serge Coulanges. Pastor Serge has a history of ministry in Haiti, starting over 40 churches and one hospital. Dove Christian Center has provided the means to wire donations directly to Pastor Serge in Haiti, to be distributed at his disgression to both churches engaging in relief efforts, and hospitals with which he is connected.
